This checker applies the American-style checks documented by Crossword Compiler: every letter has two words through it, no two-letter words, and no disconnected areas. It also requires a 180°-symmetric block pattern as an explicit profile setting. This is not a universal publisher rule: Apple News+ submissions, for example, explicitly allow asymmetry and other symmetry types.

Measurement stays off until you allow it for this tab. The deferred Yandex script then receives ordinary connection metadata such as IP address and browser information and may use cookies. Goal calls contain only audit start, valid completion, or invalid-input event names; no grid or result payload is sent. Automatic page hits, titles, links, click maps, session replay, and automatic goals are disabled. Pass and Needs work are completed structural audits, not publisher acceptance; invalid input is not completion. Consent and one-time guards use sessionStorage.
